Supervised study · the continuous support programme

Your child’s schooling, taken care of

You are no longer alone in following their schooling.

SOS supervised study is not a homework room. Week after week, a teaching team checks homework, verifies that the assigned work is done, prepares upcoming tests, tracks results and reassesses objectives. You hand over the follow-up: you keep full visibility, report after report.

Sound familiar?

Your child’s schooling should not rest on your shoulders

Every evening is a homework battle, and nobody comes out the winner.

Bad grades reach you too late to react.

Between work and family, you have neither the time nor the energy to check everything.

SOS supervised study exists precisely for these families. By enrolling your child, you are not paying for hours of attendance: you entrust their academic follow-up to a team that is accountable to you.

01 · What it really is

A support programme, not a homework room

Doing homework on site is the visible part. Here is everything the programme takes care of, week after week.

01

Every week, a complete cycle

Checking the homework due, verifying that the assigned work is done, supervised work, preparing upcoming tests: your child’s school week is taken care of from end to end.

02

A student followed, not just watched

Educational objectives set then regularly reassessed, support adapted to their needs, and two heads of education supervising their overall progress across the year.

03

Parents informed, never alone

A report after every session, regular tracking of school results, continuous communication: you always know where your child stands, without chasing after information.

02 · The SOS advantage

A team of teachers, not a single tutor

Nobody excels in every subject. That is why your child doesn’t have one teacher: they have a team.

Elsewhere, often

A single tutor

One person for every subject. When a question falls outside their field, the answer has to wait.

At SOS

A complementary team

Several teachers present, chosen to cover the school subjects. Every question finds the right teacher.

Our teachers cover

MathematicsFrenchGermanEnglishScienceand the other subjects

Concretely, during a single session

Maths

A student is stuck on an equation

the strongest maths teacher sits down beside him.

German

A student is preparing her vocabulary

the German teacher tests her on it.

French

Another is revising a dictation

the French teacher goes over the rules with him.

Three different needs, a single session: that is the whole point of a team with complementary profiles.

03 · The groups

Days and times, centre by centre

Mainly primary and secondary I students. The right group is confirmed during the initial assessment.

The promise of supervised study

The follow-up becomes our job.
Peace of mind becomes yours again.

Homework done and checked at the centre, tests prepared, results tracked: family evenings stop being battlefields. It is often the first change parents notice.

06 · Your questions

Frequently asked questions: supervised study

What are the days and times for supervised study?

In Vevey: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm, Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 3 pm. In Lausanne: Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm, Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm, with more days to come. In Montreux, the planned schedule follows the Vevey model and will be confirmed at the opening, on 1 September 2026.

Is supervised study just homework help?

No, and that is the whole difference. Homework help is included, but it is only the visible part: SOS supervised study is a continuous support programme. Every week, the teaching team checks homework, verifies that the assigned work is done, prepares upcoming tests, tracks results and reassesses objectives, under the supervision of our two heads of education. You receive a report after every session.

How much does supervised study cost?

From CHF 240.-/month with commitment, or from CHF 339.-/month without commitment, at the pace of your choice: from one to four sessions per week, two two-hour sessions being the minimum we recommend. All rates are listed in full transparency on our Pricing page.

Which levels is supervised study suited to?

Mainly primary and secondary I students. The free initial educational assessment confirms that the formula and the group suit your child.

Is supervised study available in Lausanne?

Yes, at the Lausanne centre (Rue Saint-Martin 9, 2 minutes from the Bessières metro stop): Monday from 5 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm. More days will open soon.

Is supervised study available in Vevey?

Yes, at the Vevey centre (Passage Saint-Antoine 7, a stone’s throw from the station), six days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the end of the afternoon, Wednesday afternoon (two slots) and Sunday morning and afternoon.

And in Montreux?

The Montreux centre opens on 1 September 2026 (Avenue des Alpes 27B). The planned schedule follows the Vevey model and will be confirmed at the opening. Pre-enrolment is open now.

Who supervises the study sessions?

A teaching team of several teachers present during the sessions, chosen for the complementarity of their subjects (mathematics, French, German, English, science and other school subjects). Each student is thus helped by the teacher most competent in the subject they are working on, under the supervision of our two heads of education.

What is the difference with a private lesson?

Supervised study offers a regular small-group setting, ideal for homework, method and consistency. A private lesson (one-to-one or semi-private) targets a specific difficulty face to face. Both share the same teachers, grade tracking and reports. The free assessment is there to recommend the right formula.
