Semi-private lessons · at the centre

In pairs, students dare so much more

The attention of a private lesson, the motivation of a pair.

Alone in front of a difficulty, students lose heart. In pairs, they measure themselves, help each other, dare. Your child works with a classmate of their level, guided by a teacher who moves them forward together, and each family keeps its own follow-up.

The real question

What your child gains

Beyond the grades: what changes, concretely, for them and for you.

01

They are no longer alone with the difficulty

Seeing a classmate struggle with the same exercise, then succeed, changes everything: difficulty becomes normal, and surmountable.

02

The pair pulls each other upwards

Two students of similar level observe, answer and correct each other: motivation gets more work done than constraint.

03

Their follow-up remains individual

Each student’s progress is measured separately, and each family receives its own report.

04

Regularity becomes possible

From CHF 50.-/h per student: the rate that makes weekly lessons possible, and consistency is what drives progress.

How it works

How a good pair is born

A mismatched pair helps no one progress. That is why everything starts with an assessment, for each of the two.

  1. 01

    We understand each student, separately

The free educational assessment, for each of them: level, blockages, goals. A pair is built on facts.

  2. 02

We form a pair that works

Siblings, a classmate, or a pair put together by us: two students with genuinely similar levels and goals.

  3. 03

The sessions in pairs, at the centre

Theory, individual exercises, interactive work in pairs: the teacher alternates, no one is left behind or waiting.

  4. 04

    Two families, two reports

Each student’s progress is tracked separately. You receive your own after every session.

The promise of the formula

Two students, one teacher.
More motivation, a lower rate.

The initial assessment lets us form pairs with similar levels and goals: siblings, classmates, or pairs put together by us.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions: semi-private lessons

How much does a semi-private lesson cost?

From CHF 50.-/h per student (primary and secondary I), and CHF 61.-/h per student for secondary II. Full details are on our public Pricing page.

How are the pairs formed?

Either you come with a brother, sister or classmate, or we form the pair after the initial assessment, bringing together two students with similar levels and goals.

Is my child followed individually within a pair?

Yes. Sessions alternate theory, individual exercises and work in pairs, and each student’s progress is tracked separately, with one report per family after every session.

Where do semi-private lessons take place?

At our Vevey and Lausanne centres, and in Montreux from 1 September 2026.

Semi-private or one-to-one: how to choose?

One-to-one is more direct for closing a specific gap; semi-private adds motivation and lowers the rate. The free assessment is there precisely to recommend the right formula, without pressure.
