On 7 February 2023, SOS began in a living room, with a single teacher — its founder — and his first students. Three and a half years later: three centres along the Lake Geneva arc, some thirty teachers, and families who know, session after session, exactly where their child stands.

A new school, a new country, and no one to hand you the instructions
Before it was a company, SOS was a personal journey. Here it is, in three acts.
Act I
Growing up without a map
Born in Guinea-Conakry, Ibrahima arrived in Switzerland to find a school system that was entirely new to him: its codes, its academic tracks, its unspoken expectations — without always having the bearings and support that others could take for granted. For a long time, he believed his struggles said something about his abilities.
Act II
The encounter that changed everything
Then people took the time to understand how he learned, and showed him what he was truly capable of. That day, a certainty took hold — one that would become the backbone of SOS: success is not a matter of talent, but of method, structure and confidence.
Act III
Passing it on
SOS was not born of a business plan: it puts within every student’s reach what would have been precious in Ibrahima’s own journey. On 7 February 2023, in his living room, alone with his first students, he began to pass it on. That is why every programme starts by understanding the student — never by judging them.
2023 → today
The same standards. Just more walls.

It all begins in a living room
Soutien-Omni-Scolaire is born in its founder’s living room. Alone, with his first students. No premises, no team, no fundraising: a method, and the conviction that it changes everything.
The first centre, early 202417January2024
First centre: Vevey
Eleven months later, SOS opens the doors of its first centre, in Vevey. Home tutoring is now joined by lessons at the centre.

SOS becomes a Sàrl
The venture takes formal shape: Soutien-Omni-Scolaire is officially registered as a limited liability company (Sàrl) under Swiss law.

The Lake Geneva arc is complete: opening in the heart of Montreux, at Avenue des Alpes 27B. Pre-enrolment for the 2026-2027 school year is open.

A word from the founder
To the parents reading this,
I was once the student people look at and quietly decide will never make it. Arriving from Guinea-Conakry, I discovered Swiss school without knowing its codes, and for a long time I believed my struggles said something about my abilities.
What I lacked back then is exactly what SOS offers today: someone who takes the time to understand how you learn before judging what you are worth. That is why I taught my first lessons, alone, in my living room, on 7 February 2023.
Since then, SOS has grown: three centres, a team, mobile apps. But the commitment I make to you has not shifted by a millimetre: your child will be understood before being assessed, and after every session you will know exactly where they stand.
