In our canton of Vaud centres, no patching over: we repair the foundations, then build the reflexes.
Physics: the concept before the formula
A student who understands the phenomenon can find the formula; the reverse is never true. We rebuild in that order.
Chemistry: mechanisms, not rote
Balancing, dosing, predicting a reaction: mechanisms trained until they become reflexes.
Biology: structuring the volume
The subject is vast: we teach organising, diagramming and answering in the format the test expects.

Support adapted to every stage
In Vevey as in Lausanne, the content follows the Vaud curriculum (PER) and adjusts to your child’s actual level, defined at the assessment.
Primary and early secondary
Natural sciences: observing, measuring, reasoning. The notions are concrete, but this is where the taste for understanding forms, or not. A pupil who learns by heart without grasping the reasoning will pay for it as soon as formulas arrive.
Lower secondary (Years 9 to 11)
Physics, chemistry and biology become distinct: forces and energy, reactions and equilibria, cell and genetics. Sciences are not an ECR subject, but they count in the average and weigh heavily in option choices and gymnasium admission.
Gymnasium
Physics, chemistry and biology as core subjects, and more in the specific option. The experimental approach and mathematical rigour become central: this is often where pupils discover that 'roughly understanding' is no longer enough. We support pupils up to the maturity.

Do you offer a physics tutor in Vevey, Lausanne or Montreux?
Yes. We assign your child a physics teacher selected and tested before their first lesson, one-to-one or semi-private, at the centre, at home or online.
Do you offer a chemistry tutor?
Yes, from secondary school to the maturité: reactions, stoichiometry, mechanisms, with training in the format of your child’s school tests.
Do you offer a biology tutor?
Yes, from secondary school to the maturité: cell biology, genetics, and above all the method to organise and restitute a vast subject.
Up to which level do you support science?
Up to secondary II and the maturité, following the student’s school programme.
How much does a science lesson cost?

Do sciences count for VP/VG orientation?
Not in the restricted group (French, maths, German), but in the main group, hence in promotion. And at gymnasium, physics, chemistry and biology become core subjects: that is where secondary foundations prove solid or not.
My child learns science by heart but does not understand: what to do?
It is the most frequent problem, and it explodes at gymnasium when formulas replace definitions. We go back to the reasoning behind each notion, with concrete examples, until the pupil can explain it themselves.
Do you offer physics, chemistry and biology lessons separately?
Yes. Depending on the level, these three subjects are worked together (lower secondary) or separately (gymnasium, specific option), with a teacher chosen for the discipline concerned. The free assessment sets the priority.
What is the difference between science in secondary and at gymnasium?
In lower secondary, you describe and observe; at gymnasium, you model and calculate. Pupils who understood the reasoning get through; those who learned by heart drop off within weeks. We prepare that transition from Year 11.
Do you offer science support at home or online?
Yes, across the canton of Vaud at home and anywhere in Switzerland online. For physics and chemistry, the teacher works with the pupil on their own exercises and tests, which makes remote support particularly effective.
