Why this centre
Montreux is the third stage of a journey that began in a living room, in February 2023: Vevey first, then Lausanne, and now the Montreux Riviera. Local families were already bringing their children to our neighbouring centres. From 1 September 2026, they will have their own.
Who it’s for
The centre will support students from Montreux and the surrounding communes: Clarens, Territet, Veytaux, Villeneuve and the heights above town, with tutoring from primary school to secondary II. Until it opens, families can already take the free assessment and start at home or online.
The atmosphere
In Montreux you will find exactly what defines every SOS centre: rooms dedicated to work, small groups, a calm setting, and a team that starts by understanding your child rather than judging them.

Frequently asked questions: Montreux
When does the SOS Montreux centre open?
The centre officially opens on 1 September 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year, at Avenue des Alpes 27B, 1820 Montreux, a few minutes’ walk from the station.
Can I already enrol my child for the new school year?
Yes. Pre-enrolment is open: you take the free educational assessment now, and your child starts at the centre as soon as it opens. In the meantime, lessons at home and online are available across the whole Riviera.
What support will be offered in Montreux?
Private lessons, semi-private lessons, supervised study and exam preparation (ECR, Year 11 VP and VG), with the same follow-up and the same reports to parents as in Vevey and Lausanne.
How much will lessons cost at the Montreux centre?
Our rates are transparent and identical across all SOS centres: semi-private lessons from CHF 50.-/h per student, private lessons from CHF 70.-/h, supervised study from CHF 240.-/month with commitment. Full details are on our Pricing page.
What if my child needs help before September?
They can start right away: lessons at home on the Riviera or online, with the same teachers who have proven themselves at SOS. When the centre opens, they will continue in Montreux, with the same follow-up.
